Rogue à la Mode is the name of my first fashion line and my fashion design business. On September 9th, 2017 I had the pleasure of sending my first line down New York Fashion Academy's runway during the school's 13th and final show.
Thank you to all my dressers, models, makeup artist, hair stylist, and of course my fellow designers who all worked their asses off to help me put the show together! It was almost a year of planning and hard work. You all did great!

Fitting and troubleshooting my Button Back Blouse with Long Sleeves. The top half was originally to be made out of silk charmeuse, but I changed it to 4-ply silk crepe, as it less delicate but still luxurious. The bottom would be made out of a black wool crepe.
Back view: this was one of my more difficult patterns to figure out for this show. The bias neckline at the back proved more challenging than I had originally anticipated. Even in the muslin the neckline stretched out and warped very quickly.
Working on the zipper fly for the knickerbockers. The zipper for these pants could only be 3 inches long. Luckily, I found a sample that worked perfectly, but future zipper orders would need to be made much with much more time allotment than I had. I almost needed to make/modify my own zipper.
Here I am draping and making fit adjustments to my color block dress, also known as look #4. This was also my signature look for the show. I really put a lot of thought and engineering into this design. It may look simple from the outside. But every line and seam is strategically placed. I am very proud of it.
